Kuningan, July 23, 2025 – Al-Ikhlash Modern Islamic Boarding School Kuningan, in collaboration with Imam Training and Development Manchester Britain, held a training session on “The Art of Public Speaking and Preaching Delivery” on Wednesday, at the main hall of the Al-Ikhlash campus. The training was attended by all male and female students of Al-Ikhlash, teachers, members of the Ciawilor Ulama Council, the Chairman of the Kuningan Ulama Council, and several Islamic boarding school leaders from Kuningan, Cirebon, and Majalengka.
In his opening remarks, Dr. K.H. M. Tata Taufik, M.Ag., head of the Al-Ikhlash Modern Islamic Boarding School, expressed his appreciation for the visit of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ali Belaoo, Director of Imam Training and Development Manchester, to Al-Ikhlash.
He also stated that this training is highly important for enhancing the students’ skills as imams and Khotib(preacher), since one of the graduate competency standards at Al-Ikhlash is to become a qualified imam and khotib.
International events like this are part of the school’s annual agenda aimed at enriching the students’ learning experiences and building their confidence in practicing the language skills they have developed at the school. Additionally, the event serves as a platform to introduce the pesantren education model to the international stage.
