On the previous 11-14 November, the President of the School of Al-Ikhlas attended the International Conference on Education and Psychological Sciences organized by the International Scientific Forum in the Turkish Trabzon Mecca region. At the event organized by ARID (Arab Scholar ID), the Principal’s presentation conveyed his thoughts on HOTS education in modern Indonesian Islamic boarding schools titled: Application of Higher Order Thinking Skills in Modern Islamic Boarding Schools. In the 15-minute presentation, it was explained how to implement higher order thinking skills in Islamic boarding schools, especially modern Islamic boarding schools; From the curriculum to the application of HOTS through the educational activities that take place in modern boarding schools.
After the conference, the President also visited the University of Trabzon, Dar al-Ifta Trabzon and many institutes (a kind of pesantren in Indonesia) run by Sulaymaniyah such as Seyhulislam Mustafa Efendi and Cinar Yuksek Ogretim Ogrenci Yurdu both in Istanbul.
